This week: Our list of Thanksgiving-FOSS. From Flatpak to Valve, thru Cura to 3D-Coat, and from the distant reaches of the Unity Engine and Editor all the way to the insufferable horror of Ubuntu's Unity Xwin GUI/DE, we offer thanks and praise for our faves of the year. Cheers, and thanks for listening: Have a happy and healthy (and SAFE) holiday season... and then play "TANNENBERG."

This week: we show up late, but with our spike on, reviewing the inimitable combo of action, strategy, space combat, and ship building that is the beautiful (and explodey) "SPAZ2: Space Pirates and Zombies 2." We also cover Feral's latest port, "F1 2017," and much much more!

This week, we bring you our first review of a wine/windows/flatpak/linux game, the excellent "Dead Cells." Think "Darkest Dungeon" meets "Symphony of the Night" all wrapped up in a delicious, crunchy, sweet-yet-salty wrapper of a great rogue-like (i.e. "Risk of Rain") and you get the idea. All that, plus props to the devs of "Overgrowth," who finally leave Early Access after NINE YEARS of development.

This week, we blow the lid off the details behind the recent UNBELIEVABLE evolution of flatpak as a means of repackaging Windows games for (essentially) one-click ready sandboxed natively running use on any and all Linux Distributions. This is an episode you don't want to miss.
Best Linux Games Column: will be late this week (think Tuesday), but contains all the deets for flatpak-Linux, and will be found at

In this super-special (to read: fucking insanely long) ultra-ranty completely blue-light-special-on-psychotic episode, we mark our 3 Year Anniversary with an epic exploration of the historical, WWII apocrypha that explains "Bomber Crew." It looks like a happy sttupid cartoon game for kids, but (much like our podcast itself) is actually a demonic clown that rips its own face off as it consumes you in it's gaping maw of abyssal hellfire.

Many thanks to all our listeners, celebrating 3 years of ULTRA-EXCELLENCE!

Can't handle the 7 hours of pure fucking awesome? Well, this week's installment of the column will be up by Weds, offering a condensed version of our feelings regarding "Bomber Crew."

This week, we hit the road with a triple-barreled dose of "Road Redemption." Fresh from it's newly-minted out-of-early-access status, it hits you where the rubber hits the road: YOUR FACE, MEAT. Hear all about it here, read all about it in the column below: watch me now, and see me later, etc.(!??!): it is fucking rad.

This week, I just couldn't do it; I'm really sorry for not being able to focus on anything other than the terrible shootings that happened here last week, and (for as horrible and inarticulate as they may be) couldn't contain my thoughts on the subject. The column is on hiatus till next week. Vegas, however, is open for business. Because that's what we do here, damnit, and we will not be made afraid.

This week, we diverge from our planned schedule, and take you walf-scrotum-deep into "Vikings - Wolves of Midgard," whose micro-managed mini-system approach to old-school diablo-esque hack and shalshers dominates all of our output - from our feature, to our deals, all the way through to...

This week we explore the independent game design of 2 experimental games with fairly radical and innovative design concepts: first, craft-yer-2d-spaceship in "Vulture," then in the radical FIRST-PERSON-SHOOTER-STYLE-Ttext-Based sensibilities of "Trackless." We also tick off "amusement park design" from our LINUX LIST with "Parkitect," and throw some love to indie darling sequel, "Steamworld Dig 2." All this and a brand new installment of the weekly column! So...

This week, we take a (belated) "first look" at the incredibly crazy-hilarious black comedy that is the tragedy of "KINDERGARTEN," an old-school dialogue tree based point-and-click-style RPG where not everything is at seems (and gruesome murder lurks around every corner). Also: "Jettomero," problems with Plex, "Tooth and Tail," "Voxel Fury," and so much more!
